KaruImg processes source and result image bytes in your browser. We do not send image bytes, file names, file paths, EXIF data, or raw sampled pixels to KaruImg's planner service or analytics providers.

If you sign in or subscribe, we may store basic account and billing records such as your email address, user ID, subscription status, product purchased, billing period dates, saved presets, and webhook event logs needed to keep access in sync.

If you choose Accept, KaruImg loads Google Analytics and grants analytics storage only after that choice. We may measure the page or route viewed, broad browser and device information, and coarse product actions such as upload readiness, completion, error category, download, and checkout events. We keep advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization denied and do not use advertising tracking.

Google processes this optional analytics data as a service provider, and your choice is stored in browser local storage. If your first choice is Decline, the Google tag is not loaded. If you previously accepted and later withdraw consent, analytics storage returns to denied and KaruImg stops sending subsequent analytics events. Withdrawal does not retroactively delete events already collected under the prior choice. You can change the choice anytime in Analytics preferences. Analytics never includes image bytes, file names, file paths, EXIF data, or raw pixels.

To choose compression settings, your browser may send KaruImg's planner limited technical traits: format, dimensions, bucketed file size and memory estimate, transparency or animation flags, coarse color and signal traits, device class, native encoding support, and your selected output intent. It does not send image bytes, file names, file paths, EXIF data, or raw pixels.

Vercel and KaruImg server logs may process request metadata and coarse operational facts such as route, time, response status, browser family, rate-limit state, hashed correlation values, batch counts, and planner duration. These logs are used for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and diagnosing failures.

We use account and billing data to authenticate you, provide saved presets, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

We also use limited technical logs to keep the service reliable, investigate failed payments, and diagnose product issues.

Payments are processed by Creem as merchant of record. Payment card details and billing payment credentials are handled by Creem, not stored directly by KaruImg.

Creem may collect and process billing details under its own terms and privacy practices as part of checkout, invoicing, tax handling, fraud prevention, and refunds.

We share information only with service providers needed to operate the product, including authentication and database hosting providers, Vercel for hosting and server logs, Creem for billing and merchant-of-record workflows, Google for optional consented analytics, and Slack for minimized signup, billing, and problem notifications used by operators.

We do not sell personal information.

Your analytics choice remains in browser local storage until you change it or clear site data. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics events but does not by itself delete events already collected by the provider. Account, subscription, preset, billing event, analytics, hosting log, and operational message records follow their stated purpose, configured provider settings, legal or dispute needs, and the operational retention targets; you may contact us about applicable deletion options.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored account data, but no system can promise absolute security.

You can request account-related help, request deletion where applicable, or contact us about billing records through hello@karuimg.com.

You can reopen Analytics preferences to decline or change optional analytics at any time. If you cancel your subscription, we may retain limited records needed for fraud prevention, bookkeeping, tax, or dispute handling.
