KaruImg is designed to process images locally in your browser whenever possible. We do not need your uploaded image files to create an account, subscribe, or use billing features.

If you sign in or subscribe, we may store basic account and billing records such as your email address, user ID, subscription status, product purchased, billing period dates, saved presets, and webhook event logs needed to keep access in sync.

We use account and billing data to authenticate you, provide saved presets, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

We also use limited technical logs to keep the service reliable, investigate failed payments, and diagnose product issues.

Payments are processed by Creem as merchant of record. Payment card details and billing payment credentials are handled by Creem, not stored directly by KaruImg.

Creem may collect and process billing details under its own terms and privacy practices as part of checkout, invoicing, tax handling, fraud prevention, and refunds.

We share information only with service providers needed to operate the product, including authentication, database hosting, and Creem for billing and merchant-of-record workflows.

We do not sell personal information.

We keep account, subscription, and preset records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored account data, but no system can promise absolute security.

You can request account-related help, request deletion where applicable, or contact us about billing records through hello@karuimg.com.

If you cancel your subscription, we may retain limited records needed for fraud prevention, bookkeeping, tax, or dispute handling.
